Ministry and Relational Skills

Many people fly thousands of miles only to discover that the last few feet are the most difficult. Most are unaware of how their new people group thinks and interacts, especially with foreigners. Ministry and relational skills must be developed in a candidate’s life that takes him or her outside the church or fellowship, seeking the unreached, and this must happen pre-field! Each person, each family must develop relational skills to approach their people group, engage in friendship and hospitality, and learn to communicate within new networks. Making friendships with your people group (or near group) are required. Our multi ethnic American cities are a blessing in both bringing unreached people to our doorsteps and providing a learning platform for future overseas ministry. God loves each nationality and wants relationship with them.
